For the first time the CIELFFA meeting took place together with the FVK Technical Committee on 11th April 2018 at the Stahlzentrum (Düsseldorf). Prof. Dr.-Ing. Harald Peters, Managing Director of the Steel Research Institute (BFI) held the expert lecture about ‘digitalisation’ in the steel industry. A tour of the Steel Research Institute was also part of the programme.
Also in the next round Cielffa is an official partner of the EU-OSHA's Healthy Workplaces Campaign. The "Healthy Workplaces Campaign 2020-2022 - Lighten the Load" aims to tackle work-related musculoskeletal disorders and is scheduled to start in October 2020.
